“Double iSmart” is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language science fiction action film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh, who co-produced the film with Charmy Kaur under the banner of Puri Connects. The movie stars Ram Pothineni and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. Mani Sharma composed the music, with cinematography by Gianni Giannelli and Shyam K. Naidu, and editing by Karthika Srinivas. The film is a spiritual sequel to the 2019 film “iSmart Shankar.”
Double Ismart features Kavya Thapar as the female lead, with an ensemble cast including Bani J, Ali, Getup Sreenu, Sayaji Shinde, Makrand Deshpande, and Temper Vamsi. Sanjay Dutt stars as the main antagonist in this Puri Connects production, with music composed by Manisharma.

The film was initially set to release on 8 March 2024, coinciding with Maha Shivaratri, but was later postponed. It is now scheduled to release on 15 August 2024, coinciding with Independence Day, and will be available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
