The film’s completion of post-production was announced by Karan Johar in March 2024. Initially titled “Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam,” the film was later renamed “Bad Newz.”
Music:
The film’s music is composed by Rochak Kohli, Vishal Mishra, Lijo George-DJ Chetas, Prem-Hardeep, Karan Aujla, and Abhijeet Srivastava, with the background score by Amar Mohile. The first single, “Tauba Tauba,” was released on July 2, 2024. The second single, “Jaanam,” followed on July 9, 2024. The third single, “Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam,” a remix of the original song from the 1998 film “Duplicate” (originally composed by Anu Malik), was released on July 14, 2024.
